Avoid calling an enemy a friend

Comment |

One of the dangerous positions anyone can ever be in life is to be in the mist of enemies that you call your friends. Their outward appearances show that of a friend but deep inside of them, they are real enemies.  I remember an incident when I was in the secondary school.
I had people I called my friends. We went to school together; we read together, talked together and played together. But, I got to know after we left school that they were never really my friends through the way they behaved to me after our graduation. An enemy in the clothing of a friend is like a small an ant that will first of all climb on your body to take the best position such that a bite will penetrate deeply into your skin. Be sensitive to the behavior of the people you call your friends & don’t let them turn your life upside-down  Remember, it is better to know your enemies and stay away from them than to be surrounded with enemies in the disguise of friends.

You Need The Financial Anointing (2)

Comment |

Behind the stories in the bible are the principles we need to apply to our lives so that we also can have the experiences of the bible. Today’s topic is critical to how well we’ll prosper under the anointing.
It wasn’t by mistake that Abraham fed those three men in Genesis 18:1-22 and his wife gave birth to Isaac nine months after their visit. The principle in this story is that, feeding your man of God is critical to your own well-being in life. There was no one in the bible that did this with the right heart & was not rewarded thereafter.

The weapons of the devil (1)

We are now in a world that is characterized as the information age. This means that every average person is expected to be informed on every issue. At the same time, intellectualism has also grown to an appreciable extent in which the opinions of experts in different fields are of high value. However, the problem with this present age is that,
we are now consciously or unconsciously replacing divine communication with the opinions of the experts and this is very dangerous. When God has spoken on a matter and the experts say something else, the ideal thing is for us to go with what God has said and act on it by faith, but some people finds it difficult to do so because the opinion of the expert looks reasonable to the mind while God’s instruction may look unreasonable. Remember; God uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise and the foolishness of God is wiser than men.

Stay away from wrong programming

Comment |

A man of God once said, “You cannot rise higher than the way you see yourself”. This means that there is manner in which we must be thinking if we want to rise to occupy our individual place in life. But, our thought follows what we believe and what we believe is a function of the programming that is in us.
A computer, as useful and vital as it is, will only perform base on the programming language that is designed into it. Similarly our confessions, decisions, actions, beliefs and thoughts  are functions of the kind of programming we have in us. The question now is; who has programmed you- God or the world system?

Serve God's will in your generatiion

I remember the story of Apostle Paul in the bible. He belonged to the generation of the first set of apostles of the early church. He was in the class of Peter, Andrew James, John, etc. But, he did not get born-again on time. The early apostles were already fulfilling their destiny when he got born-again
. By the time Paul discovered that he was to be an apostle and he belonged to the generation of peter, they were already ahead of him. In order to catch up, he had to pay extra price and do extra work so that he can also fulfill the will of God in his generation.
This story of Apostle Paul reveal how important it is for every one of us to know that if we fail to serve God’s will in our generation, no other generation will feel our impact and our time on the earth will be a waste. Remember, if you serve God’s will in your generation, your legacy and your impact will forever be felt.

Your change has come

Change is inevitable in life and it’s either you change for the better or for the worse. Since I gave my life to Christ and I started listening to the undiluted word of God, there have been a lot of positive changes in my life.  I remember the day I bought books and sowed them into the life of my pastor. For me,
it was just an act of a son. But to God, it was an opportunity for a change.  He laid his hands on me and prayed for me. That impartation changed my life and it was about a year later that I discovered my writing ability. Ordinarily, I can write a little but, there is a new realm of inspiration that has opened upon me and I see topics that no author has ever written a book on it. I count it a great change and a great joy for me to be called an author. Indeed my change has come and my level is changing.

Key steps to success in life and destiny

When you want to go in through a big and a strong door that is locked, the only thing you need is the key to that door. As long as you have the key, you can be sure that you will go through. This principle applies to success in life also. Living a successful life on this earth requires that you have some keys with you to access different doors as you go through life. Remember;
he who has the key has the right to access the door of success.
The keys are:
  •           Have your vision clarified
  •          Identify things that must be in your life
  •          Prepare and determine to finish
  •          Take care of your weaknesses
  •          Spend time with God's word
  •          Develop a keen sense of timing

God’s first aid kit (2)

Comment |

Whenever I sense any discomfort in my body, the first thing I normally do before taking pills is to listen to a message on healing after which I begin to confess and declare my stand as a healed person in Christ. It is after doing that I may now consider whether or not to take pills. But,
I take those pills not with the mindset that it is the pill that will heal me. Instead, I take the pills with the mindset that God will use the pills as a medium to heal me.
However, a lot of people don’t do this. Instead they begin to fidget and begin to say negative things until the sickness creep on their body. Some rely too much on pills that they lost faith in the God that can heal. Listening to the word of God and confessing it are some of the first aid kit every Christian should have at their disposal and they are the primary things you should use in any situation you find yourself. But if you don’t have them as your first aid kit, you can’t use them.

God’s first aid kits (1)

Comment |

I remember the day I knocked my head on the ground when I was in primary school. I was playing football with my older colleagues and one of them pushed me and I fell. The result was a wound right there on my forehead.
When I was taken to the school clinic, the first treatment I received was from the school first aid before I was later taken to the hospital. Had it not been that there was a first aid in the school clinic, I would have lost too much blood before getting to the hospital.
This story of mine reminds me of the vitality of why we Christians must have our own God’s first aid kit. As long as we are still alive, we will always be faced with challenging situations of different kinds. However, It is from our first aid that we pull out the primary weapon we need to combat those situations after which we dig deep to get more accessories to overcome completely. Remember a Christian that is without a first aid kit is a defenseless Christian.

I remember one of the issues I had to deal with in my teenage years; pornography. I was exposed to it at the age of thirteen and couldn’t stop until I was twenty even though I was born again.

Characteristics of the man that God works with

Indeed God is a great God, He is father to all of us and He is ever ready to partner with us. However, the rates at which a father will work with the son depend on the level of intimacy that is between them. Likewise God will work with you at the level of intimacy between both of you which is a factor of the characteristics you put on. Although God will always be your father yet, bad characteristics will repel Him from you and he will wait until you adjust before He continue to work with you.
Here are the highlights of the characteristics of the man that god works with
  •  Your way must be pleasing to God
  •   You must tremble at God’s word
  •   You must live by faith
  •   You must be a sent man
  •   You must value intimacy with God rather than man
  •   You must pay price for power and spiritual experience

Do you know that not all Christians are fully in the purpose of God? Do you know that not all Christians want God to take charge of everything in their life?
Good morning to you all. Hope you had a good night sleep? Today is a day of great expectations.

We are starting off the New Year with a big question: will you allow the purpose of God to prevail over your own plans? No matter how perfect your plans may be, God still has a better and a greater plan for you.
